Who can apply for it?
The Youth Voice Fund is money that is available for 10 to 21 year olds. Applications are welcome from both individuals and groups who live or operate in parts of the following areas:
BLANTYRE, BURNBANK, HILLHOUSE, WHITEHILL, FAIRHILL AND LOW WATERS, CAIRNS AND HALFWAY, BURNHILL, WESTBURN, THE CIRCUIT, FERNHILL, WHITLAWBURN, SPITTAL, BLAIRBETH, CATHKIN AND PARTS OF LARKHALL.
Individuals can apply for up to £150 with youth groups able to apply for up to £500. The Youth Voice Fund’s main aim is to help support those who are most in need.
 
What can you apply for?
The Fund will support ideas and activities that may help you develop your skills and confidence in three main categories:
Education & Employment
Course Fees, Theory & Driving Tests,Tutoring Fees, Trade Tools etc.
Music & Arts
Instruments & Equipment, Tuition Fees, Art Materials, Drama Performance Costs etc.
Sports
Essential Equipment, Coaching Fees, Costs related to Entering Competitions etc.

What to do next?
Download and fill in an application form, making sure you have completed all the details that are asked for, including your postcode. (This is Very Important!)
Please make sure you complete the SUPPLIER INFORMATION details. (We need to know which company or organisation you will be buying goods or services from. Failure to include these details will delay your application being processed)
If there is someone helping you with your application, (i.e. a Youth Worker or Teacher) and you would like us to speak with them directly, please include their details in the referee section of the Youth Voice Fund application form.

The School Holiday Provision Fund provides activities for children and young people during Summer, October, Christmas and February school holidays out with their normal youth provision.
We are particularly interested in activities which will engage vulnerable children and young people and those which could reduce incidents of anti-social behaviour amongst young people and change community perceptions about youth crime.
 
We will fund things like:
•    Transport Costs
•    Entry Fees
•    Staff Costs
•    Accommodation/Venue Costs
•    Consumables
 
But we will not fund:
•    Large Items of Equipment (Computers, Pool Tables, etc…
•    Travel Costs for Trips Outside of the UK
•    Training
•    Costs for Adult Participation
•    Organisations that Apply More than Nominal Fee Charges

The Weekend Diversion Fund provides activities for young people during the weekend (Thursday – Sunday) out with their normal youth provision. We are particularly interested in activities which will decrease youth disorder and tackle territorial issues.

 

We will fund things like:

•   Additional Youth Activities Operating on Thursdays to Sundays.

•    Transport Costs

•    Entry Fees

•    Staff Costs

•    Accommodation/Venue Costs

•    Consumables

 

But we will not fund:

•    Training Costs

•   Costs for Adult Participation

•   Travel Costs for Trips Outside UK

•    Organisations that Apply More than Nominal Fee Charges

•    Large Items of Equipment (Computers, Pool Tables, etc…)
